About me

I was born in Scotland but have lived in Guernsey since 1989. I am married to Colin, have 2 adult children, 3 dogs and a 3 legged cat.

I have been a nurse for over 30 years. I work as a Service Manager for Community Health & Wellbeing. We are an integrated statutory health and care provider.  This includes hospital services, older people services, mental health, disability, social care, prison health  and community care. I have care staff, nurses and social workers in my services as well as specialist nurses and allied health professionals.

I became a Queens Nurse in 2015. Being part of the Queens Nurse family has given me amazing opportunities to connect and learn with nurses who are passionate about community care all around the country.

Guernsey has a population of just over 60 000 people. Its a beautiful island and a fantastic place to live and work.

Connecting to learn how people thrive achieve meaning & purpose in integrated communities
